How did your love story begin?

It began at the most magical place on earth, Disney World, during our Disney College Program internships. Jimaye followed Elijah on instagram after he got added to her group chat, he didn’t follow back. The next day, we went to a social event to meet others in the program. We noticed one another & eventually he introduced himself. The conversation ended & we went our separate ways. The next day he followed & dm’d, asking her out. The date had a rocky start, but 8 hours later, we were smitten.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

The date where we fell in love is our favorite memory. Jimaye planned a 3 part date to show she cared & appreciated the effort Elijah was putting in to court her. The Southern Hill Farm’s Fall festival created that memory. The music, food, activities, & the beautiful scenery set the stage for a time we will never forget. Our decision to enter what we thought was an easy corn maze was the start of an amazing journey. Between the heat, the bugs, & hours of being lost, we found laughter and love.

What would you do with $20,000?

This money would be life changing because being a long distance couple is a financial, emotional, and taxing yet rewarding investment. The money will be able to close the distance between New Jersey and Florida more often. Going on an unimaginable vacation is something that some of the 20,000 dollars would allow us to accomplish. Investing in our relationship is important to us. The money put aside will eventually grant us a beautiful wedding and allow us to move in together.
