How did your love story begin?

As young professionals working together in different sectors of law enforcement we met and were instantly friends. The early days of our relationship (which was a courtship but only God knew that then) we did everything together with a small group of close knit friends from work. We all worked long shifts but when freedom came we spent it having fun. Dancing, bbq's and finally one night at a Medieval dinner tournament our eyes locked and we realized we were becoming more than just friends.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

About a year into our relationship we went camping with our dogs. We were hiking through a majestic area of Starved Rock State park watching wildlife, water falls and sharing views that were just amazing. After two days and nights of just us alone in the woods, we knew we were meant to be together forever.

What would you do with $20,000?

We would use the money to plan a family trip with our adult children. As our family has grown, we have 3 daughters and a son in law now, they live all across the country. We would like to spend a week with them together in the mountains near Yellowstone hiking and doing what we all love. It would be a great way to reconnect as a family and build memories to last a lifetime.
