Connect How did your love story begin?

Ernie and I met on a campaign; little did we know he was going to end up my boss. I didn’t think we’d ever be where we are now, since we come from struggle and difficult pasts, but the attraction and chemistry were almost instant. We met over 3 years ago on May 19th and have been together ever since. We have our disagreements, and challenges that we trudge through, but always have each other's backs! I can confidently say we wouldn’t give up our headaches (this is each other lol) for the world.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Ernie and I have never had the opportunity to travel, and our jobs have given us that opportunity. I can say one of my favorite memories will always be riding scooters down the Detroit River together, taking in such beauty and aesthetics, laughing and smiling so much our faces, literally, hurt when we returned to our hotel room.

What would you do with $20,000?

Ernie and I have been working two to three jobs just to keep a float at times so we would use the money to pay off some of our debt and maybe even use some to put a down payment on a home that we have been working our butts off to get. We currently live paycheck to paycheck, and the money would help immensely to have a buffer to take some well-needed "us time" in order to refuel to continue chasing our dreams!
