How did your love story begin?

Devin & I met when we were 6 years old, in 1st grade in our class of about 60. We went to school together until 10th grade & then lost touch for 10 years. He recognized me on some obscure dating app, & after we reconnected I went back to look through my yearbooks. Our last names had been next to each other alphabetically, so our yearbook pictures were next to each other. In 2nd grade I had written “nice” with an arrow to his face. He was the only boy I wrote about.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Welcoming our baby girl, Ava Caroline, into the world this past April! We struggled to conceive for years, and her birth was so beautiful and special. The nurses kept commenting about how happy they are when good things happen to good people, especially when her conception was so challenging. When they put her on my chest for the first time, she heard my voice, lifted her head and looked me in the eyes, then looked at her daddy next to me and held my finger. Most special moment of my life!

What would you do with $20,000?

We’ve struggled with infertility for years and recently welcomed our first baby girl into the world. We would like more children, but unfortunately we don’t have any more viable embryos, so we would put that $20k toward expanding our family. We love each other so much and want more of each other to love!
