How did your love story begin?

Our mutual friend had picked both of us up to hang out and we began to talk about where we were from who we know. Turns out our grandparents are neighbors our whole family knows each other and we went to elementary together and known of each other for years. All three of us talked about going to see the last jarrasic movie and our mutual friend didn’t show and we just vibed from there. Hung out some more doing really nerdy stuff. One day he brought me a rock collection thing and just went on.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Our promise ring story is our favorite. Devante and me were in a rough spot with money. Devante wasn’t working a good job, he ask me if I could help with the last payment of the ring. I think some people would be offended if their partner asked them that but we we felt the same way knowing we were both struggling still got a ring to symbolize our love, to show we have each others back. he was embarrassed to ask but after we realized the symbolism of our rings we shared a special moment.

What would you do with $20,000?

We would pay off our debt and finally be able to start putting a down payment on our dream house (barndominium) and finally be able to focus on our schooling and our future career. We may be young but both of hard are hardships at young ages. The 20,000 will definitely help us pave the way for our future and to help boost us financially.
