How did your love story begin?

Derek was fresh out of 4 years in the Navy. He was going to get an apartment with a buddy. That buddy said he dated a girl who might know of an apartment available. They came to my friend and I’s apartment. He had went on one date with my roommate, but he lied and said it was me. After that Derek wanted nothing to do with me until one day he asked me why did I go out with his buddy. I said I didn’t (gross) he went out with my roommate. He asked me out then and I stood him up 4 times:)

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

"Our favorite memory together was our wedding. We got married in front of the courthouse on a Wednesday. Derek’s dad came on his lunch break. He was a brick mason and was covered in mortar. I gave the point and shoot camera to his mamaw to take pictures and her response to me was “I cut heads off”, I said “oh you won’t today “. Well I was wrong:) lol We don’t have heads in any of our wedding pictures. It’s probably for the best 🤣"

What would you do with $20,000?
