We've been together for 20 years and we are still best friends. We are both super goofy and we allow each other to be exactly who we are.
We would like to thank you for supporting Dennis & Veronica in this year's competition. Your participation allows us to aid both the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and Oceana in their respective missions to support hunger relief and ocean conservation.
We worked together as catering cooks. Our executive chef and his sous were in cahoots to get us together. So they made us go to a work required food show to take stock on equipment pricing. We car pooled and have been together since. Even being a part for months in the beginning due to hurricane Katrina. We made MANY phone calls during those months a part. Then we returned home and that's all she wrote!
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?The first year we participated in New Orleans version of Running of the Bulls as part of the Costelero's together. We had participated as spectators and volunteers for years. Dennis was asked to join the all male crew a few years in (this is an honor to be asked) and loved it. A couple years later, I had the honor of being asked to become the 1st female member. (After asking for his blessing of course!) Marching in that first opening ceremony together is priceless!
What would you do with $20,000?Wow! Pay off credit cards, take a long awaited vacation and put a down payment on a food truck/trailer so that we can begin our bucket list journey!
