We both are extremely loyal, we have big hearts, and we never lose the childlike wonder that keeps life worth living. LAUGHTER, always.
We would like to thank you for supporting Denin and Alicia in this year's competition. Your participation allows us to aid both the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and Oceana in their respective missions to support hunger relief and ocean conservation.
We met in 2012 at 15 and 16 years old and fell deeply in love right away. We were first loves. Unfortunately 2 months later I (Alicia) got diagnosed with B-Cell Non Hodgkins Lymphoma. Denin kept my spirits up and gave me reason to fight on my lowest days. Because cancer, family issues, and fears snuck in, we separated. We left each other with a knowing that if we found each other again, it’s truly meant to be. 9 years later, we found eachother again and will never let go.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Finding each other again and deciding to take a risk. We moved from Wisconsin to Arizona with whatever we could fill up our vehicles with. We wanted a fresh start, a chance to explore, and an opportunity to grow together again.
What would you do with $20,000?We would use it towards medical bills. Lyme disease struck me (Alicia) and the cost of effective and long term treatment are steadily adding up. We are blessed to just have each other, but paying off some bills would be amazing!
