In 1990, from across opposite ends of the country, we both ended up living in North Carolina. We met at a bar in Charlotte and we exchanged names but nothing came from our encounter. A month later we unintentionally ended up at a bar across town and he remembered my name, which resonated with me, and we ended up talking all night and swapped information. The next night he drove to my house and gave me a rose and told me he would call me and we’ve been together ever since.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Other than life’s miracles, most people would say their first date, but ours was our first weekend away together. We attended a football game where it was icy, cold, and windy the entire time, we had ice in our hair but we had the most fun.
What would you do with $20,000?I would whisk my husband away to Spain, where he has always wanted to visit. He has family and ancestry roots there. Anything left would go towards a pool for the kids and grandkids.
