I’m a writer/director and John is a Cinematographer/Assistant Director. I tell the stories, and he helps me bring them to life.
You decide who wins $20,000 and appears in Variety magazine as America’s Favorite Couple
I had been on a couple of dating apps, but took myself off of them when it felt like a part time job. John found me on an app I left a few weeks prior from a profile that was no longer up and sent an email that should never have gone through. We met for coffee and both agreed that we were too busy to get seriously involved. Three hours and many coffees later, we have not been apart for 20 years now (married for 10)
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple? When my husband and I met, neither one of us had a lot of money. I was a novelist and fledgling screenwriter, and one day when I was at my 9-5, I came home to find out that he had bought a large screen monitor (on sale), cleaned up my a refurbished computer tower, built a desk to accompany it all, and he was so excited to show me my new writing station when I got home. It was the kindest thing anyone had ever done for me.
What would you do with $20,000?We would either take the vacation to Italy and Greece that we have been wanting to take. OR, make one of the movies which he wrote (we've made several of mine, it's his turn!)
