Connect How did your love story begin?

I dated his best friend, John, for 3 years. When we broke up, John handed me some keys and said, "hey, would you mind giving these back to Armando?" So I called him, we met up and I told him the whole sad story. We split a bottle of wine and it came out that he had been attracted to me all along. Later, he invited me to dinner at his apartment. We went dancing, kissed, and I couldn't believe this amazingly good-looking man liked me! We dated for a little over a year and then got engaged.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Armando is Hispanic, with dark hair, dark skin, dark eyes. I am blonde and blue-eyed. When I was pregnant with our first child, we assumed it would have his dominant traits. When she arrived, she had fuzzy strawberry blonde hair and blue eyes. He asked me, "how did you do that??" Then, when we had our second child, and she also came out with peach fuzz and blue eyes, he exclaimed, "you did it again!!" Our birth memories are our favorite memories!

What would you do with $20,000?

Armando is from Puerto Rico, but I've never been there. We would use the $20K to take a family vacation, bring our two adult daughters and their partners, swim in the beautiful cerulean sea, and spend time with all of Armando's family that still live there. What an amazing trip that would be!
