Connect How did your love story begin?

It began online as most of our mates these days. I saw the most beautiful guy on my screen and immediately thought, well that’s a serial killer look if I know one. We went on our first date on a hike, again thinking this will be a great beginning of a horror story but it turned out to be the most beautiful one. We both have ADHD, he knew I had it before I was even diagnosed. I lived 26 years thinking I’ll never get married and said yes to marrying him after 2 months. We are soulmates.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

As cliche as it might sound we have none because everyday is our favorite memory. We said to ourselves one week in that we would have the longest honeymoon phase ever, well we are. Whenever we have an argument, I head off to Burlington, spend some money and always remember to buy him a gift. Our humor and honesty makes everyday worth it. We would thrift together, I cheer him up in his hockey game (he sucks!!) but we enjoy every second together.

What would you do with $20,000?

It was not hard to decide to split this money for our wedding and to renovate his childhood home. We have been working hard to save for our wedding and at the same time keep our roof (his childhood home) from falling down. He got this beautiful gift from him Mother and has been working hard to keep it ever since. His umbilical cord is in this house (this is not a parable) it really is. This will be a dream come true for us and the beginning of our wholesome journey.
