He was my brother‘s best friend HS and was always at our house. I was just the annoying little sister being five years younger than him. We always got along great ,when people would ask him why wasn’t he married yet, he would always say I’m waiting for Shirley to grow up and I just giggled that but then that all changed with a kiss on my 16th birthday. But he knew I was too young, so he left the state and came back once I was out of HS. we went out again and the rest of his history.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?When he took me out for my 16th BD he kissed me good night n said that wasn’t a very brotherly kiss was it, I just stared up at him and said no it wasn’t. I fell in love instantly so of course one of our favorite songs is happy birthday sweet 16.
What would you do with $20,000?We would put a new roof on our home and maybe take a trip up the Oregon coast because of his PTSD. He doesn’t travel well so no planes but that’s OK by me as long as we’re together.
