He was my friendly neighborhood garbage man. We were both in unhappy, unhealthy marriages that failed. After a few years of knowing each other as customer and garbage man, he asked me to dinner and offered to help bring in my groceries. I declined as I was seeing someone. However, he lingered in my mind as my current relationship was dwindling. So, I looked him up on FB thinking “why not?” We fell in love instantly. He moved in 5 days later and never left!

Just one?!?! We are a blended family with three kids. We love making memories with them and make purposeful time for ourselves as well. Whether it’s long distance travels or close to home getaways, we make the best of the time we have together. Cuddles, laughter, inside jokes, and endless joy make these smile lines worth it! We know just how lucky we are to have found the love we have and we hope our kids search out the same love as they see in us.

Finish our basement to make it a place for the kids to live if they cannot move out due to economic issues or need to come back home for any reason. We don’t ever want them to worry or stress about how to survive. Home is always going to be home. Having the basement done would provide another kitchen, full bath, living space, laundry, and additional bedroom. We don’t care if they ever move out so long as they’re happy in their lives and feel fulfilled!
