Connect How did your love story begin?

Met my now husband on Tinder back in 2020, but I ghosted him classic early 20s move, living my best chaotic girl era. Fast forward to late 2021, we reconnected over dogs (obviously) and had a dog date that turned into a 12-hour marathon of vibes, laughs, and mutual dog obsession. It felt like we’d known each other forever. Somehow, Tinder really said “soulmates, but make it iconic.” We’re basically two weirdos who get each other and our dogs get it too.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

My favorite memory with my husband though painful was when we had our preemie baby. Leaving him at the hospital broke us. I remember us standing there, hugging and crying, both completely shattered. But in that moment, without even speaking, we just understood each other. That raw connection, that deep love, made me realize he was my forever person in every lifetime. Even in heartbreak, we were home in each other.

What would you do with $20,000?

We’d be so thankful for that $20,000 it would go straight toward a deposit on our first home. A place where our dog and son can run around in the backyard, our cat can nap in sunny windows, and we can finally put down roots. It’s more than a house to us it’s a space to grow, laugh, and make the kind of memories that shape a family. With this help, we’d be one big step closer to building the life we’ve always dreamed of for our little crew.
