Our relationship was forged in the fires of time and circumstance through countless letters and endless phone calls. In a world that told us “no,” we chose to go.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Our favorite memory is when our distance was shattered, and a cement wall no longer separated us. After 24 years of incarceration—7 of which we spent together—the day he was released will forever be the moment our dreams became reality. That day we were able to embrace that which deepened our mental, emotional, and physical bond. We took the ferry to SF and enjoy the sights and sounds. Together walking hand in hand.
What would you do with $20,000?$20,000 is a life-changing opportunity. We want to be able to take care of our needs and give back to the community that has supported our family. We would honor my mother's life through support of a charitable donation to the Alzheimer’s Walk. We also would love to give back to those impacted by the fires in my hometown of Altadena. My husband has dreamed of a Caribbean vacation, and I’d love to make that dream a reality.
