How did your love story begin?

Danny and I have been friends for almost 20 years. In 2019 my husband passed away from Stage 4 bladder cancer, I was lost and had nowhere to go, despite my late husband and I divorcing when he passed Danny let me move in with him, the deal being until I got back on my feet. We got to know each other better during that time. Danny also helped me get over my horrible marriage and we started dating. I don't know who fell first me or him, but we've been together almost 7 years now.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

There are so many good memories associated with our relationship, my favorite has to be our first Christmas in our own house in 2023. We had been living with his sister from December of 2022 to May of 2023, when we bought our house. I went overboard with his gifts, knowing his childhood Christmases had been really rough and full of bad memories. I tried to show him what a happy and blessed Christmas was, not with the gifts alone, but the food, decorations and family traditions I had of Christmas

What would you do with $20,000?

I can no longer work, due to major health issues. Danny supports the both of us on a very small salary from his convenience store job. We need a reliable vehicle, since the only one we could afford to buy was a 1992 Ford Taurus. I'd like to be able to get a newer car to be able to take him on a road trip from Arizona to North Carolina, where he is from. He has expressed a major desire to see where his family is from and check out some more States, he has never traveled out of Arizona in his life
