We are childhood sweethearts who have withstood the test of time, health struggles and a gender transition while remaining best friends
You decide who wins $20,000 and appears in Variety magazine as America’s Favorite Couple
Sasha and I met in 8th grade and instantly liked each other, but became best friends out of frear the other would say no. We remained best friends (with many moments that it should have been obvious that we were in love) up until our senior year. We had been in other long term relationships that had recently ended. I made homecoming court and Sasha asked if they could be my escort. The next day they confessed that they had been in love with me and the rest is history ❤️
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple? Our favorite memory is picking up our Great Dane Juno to bring her home. We had an adoption lined up that fell through. The agency let us know they had a girl from a tough situation who needed a home. We were anxious about her getting a long with our cats and they said she was suspicious of new people. But when we got there she ran over to us put her two front paws on my chest gave us kisses and then leapt directly in our car and we knew immediately she was the missing piece in our little family
What would you do with $20,000?We would use the money to get married. We have been putting it off for so many years because we didn't want to rush and and other life events/finances kept pushing it back. With this money we could finally plan the day we deserve to have.
