Connect How did your love story begin?

Halloween, 2011, my 1st day at a new school in 4th grade. Sam was wearing a bee costume, don’t know what I was wearing but she liked what she saw & I couldn’t blame her. But the long version of this story is that we didn’t become friends until our sophomore year of high school. We stayed friends until summer of 2020 where it hit me on the beach with her that I may actually like her more than a friend. (spoilers I did) After a couple months we began dating in April of 2021.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

I would say it happened recently, last weekend on June 11th. We had a date to the Griffith Observatory to have a small picnic overlooking L.A. What made it so memorable was the things we didn’t expect on the trip. Exploring Olvera street & getting churros, getting to the observatory & witnessing a proposal, a plane show of vintage planes, & a telescope pop up to see the sun & later the moon. All this on top of our picnic with scenic view made it beautiful. I’ll always remember it.

What would you do with $20,000?

1st things 1st is I’d get Sam a car. Last year she was in an accident & seeing her car that she saved so much & worked hard for going out was sad. She recently graduated & I’m still my last year of school so saving up money has been a bit hard. Honestly with my part I’d just want us to take a trip somewhere. Europe probably, I think we’d both really enjoy that. With the rest to save up.
