Connect How did your love story begin?

We met at the end of middle school in gym class. I didn’t really know anyone in the class and but had seen Daniel in the hallways before. He came up to me and said hi and we were together for almost everything in the class since then. When there was pairs, it was always him and I. We talked throughout the semester and eventually got each others phone numbers. We had our first kiss at the end of year basketball game and went into the summer together.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

The summer before high school began, there was a tour for his favorite music artist. Kendrick Lamar. Daniel had never been on a plane before and to attend the Kendrick Lamar concert in Seattle, we would have to fly. I saved up money to surprise him with tickets to the show. After I surprised him, seeing his face made everything worth it to me. Going on the plane with him and seeing Kendrick Lamar with pure excitement from the both of us was an unforgettable experience.

What would you do with $20,000?

Daniel and I are still young. We have so many years and dreams to accomplish. College is a top priority for us and it’s coming very soon, with 20,000 dollars we could help pay for college for the both of us and with any possible left over (if any) We would love to invest in a Roth IRA to continue building our life together and invest in our future.
