Daniel and I are COMPLETE opposites. But it balances us in the best possible way. And he saved my life.
We would like to thank you for supporting Daniel and Emily Pinelli in this year's competition. Your participation allows us to aid both the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and Oceana in their respective missions to support hunger relief and ocean conservation.
Our love story began at work. I (Emily) had started this new job and 4 months into the job, Daniel showed up out of nowhere because he was doing something out of state for a few months for another job and came back. And I hated him. Obviously that changed with the most awkward attempt on my part to ask him out which resulted in him running out of my apartment after I asked him to kiss me and him saying "no, not really" before he ran off.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Honestly, it was probably the "no, not really" moment. We joke about it often even 6 years later. And this memory was so key (not to mention cringey) to our relationship. After I had asked him to kiss me and he said "no, not really" before running out of my apartment, he did approach me later and ask if i wanted to go on a date the following night. We both love to laugh and this is the memory we both look back on the most and laugh about with each other. It never gets old.
What would you do with $20,000?Well, I (Emily) am a cancer survivor. Unfortunately due to that I still struggle with medical problems which are expensive. Because of us always paying them off we feel like we will never be able to afford a down payment on a house. That is the only thing we want. A house. So, if we won that $20,000 it would go towards that down payment so we could finally have a quiet and non stressful place to finally live.
