How did your love story begin?

We met riding motorcycles with others. I use to travel nurse and we FaceTimed every night for my two weeks away each month. Deep conversations grew to an awesome friendship that evolved to a relationship. We quickly became each others best friend and realized how much we had in common despite the age gap. After moving in together, life became so much easier & happier, filled with affection & laughter every day. I think we both healed each other’s past traumas and learned to trust & love again.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

We recently went on a last minute Alaskan cruise deal, also stopping in Victoria, Canada. It was our 1st time in Alaska, his 1st cruise and 1st international visit. The entire cruise was so memorable filled with firsts for both of us. We e-biked for the 1st time in Sitka, salmon fished in Ketchikan, and kayaked next to seals & bald eagles in Juneau. But the best part was when he got down on one knee & proposed to me on the lawn of the Parliament building in Victoria. Never have I felt so loved!!

What would you do with $20,000?

We would use the funds to pay for the wedding and honeymoon. We’ve each started our own businesses that are still in that hardest first year to make them a success. I’ve started a mobile IV hydration business and he’s started an HVAC company. Since this wedding is not a first for either of us, we’re planning to pay for everything & budgets are super tight right now.
