We met at the restaurant where Dan was working whenever he was off tour. My girlfriends and I used to do our weekly dinner there, and that is where we met. Since i worked the furthest I was always the last person there, and Dan would give me a hard time and that gave him the chance to flirt with me. He started buying us dinner and we exchanged numbers. At the time we both in relationships so hung out as friends for a year. A year later we finally went on our first day on Valentines day.

There are so many, to name however it probably be last year when we traveled to Seattle for our 10th wedding anniversary rented a car and drove down PCH all the way to LA. It was just the two of us, and we stopped anywhere we wanted as we did not have a set agenda. It was during thanksgiving and everything was close but we found this mom and pops place that was having dinners for charity and had the best time.We can have fun, dance and be silly and also just be quiet and enjoy each other.

3 things come to mind: First, I’m already set and actively training to swim the English Channel in August 2027. This would really help us cover the costs of the trip—and since Dan is part of my support crew, it would help with his travel and involvement too. Secondly go on a real honeymoon and our dream to go to Australia, as we never did since the timing was not right at the time. Lastly we would use it for our house. She is in desperate need of a new fence as well as a new paint coat.
