We met at a dinner group of likeminded people while I (Cyn) was dating someone else. We became friends, were attracted to each other, but didn’t exchange numbers due to my relationship. RC’s work schedule changed, and we no longer saw each other. Then a mutual friend brought RC to a group outing to Addison Oktoberfest in 2013. We’ve been together ever since. (Funnily enough RC remembers meeting me years early at Scarborough Renaissance Festival when I was dancing at a belly dance shop.)
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?We went on a cruise with around 100 hashers (drinking club with a running problem) and had the most amazing time boarding the ship as pirates, dressing up in onesies and in red dresses to do trails on the ship, having a disaster of an excursion with 50 other hashers in Jamaica followed by The Bus Ride of Doom back to the ship, almost being left in the Grand Caymans with the head of security bringing us back to the ship, and so many other wonderful and memorable experiences.
What would you do with $20,000?We would take an actual honeymoon and pay off a chunk of our mortgage principal.
