Justin and I met when I was a freshman and he was a sophomore in high school. We were first loves and despite turbulence ended up married
We would like to thank you for supporting Courtney and Justin in this year's competition. Your participation allows us to aid both the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and Oceana in their respective missions to support hunger relief and ocean conservation.
We met as freshman in high school. We both went to an agricultural school. I was a horse girl. He had a dairy farm. We fell in love quickly. Obviously our parents hated it because it took him from the farm and my parents just always wanted something different. At one point I had to walk away because he needed to work on him. I got pregnant and has a short marriage. He came back to me when he got himself together. Been here with us ever since.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple? There are so many. Probably when we were kids. One of the few times his dad let him attend an event outside the farm. We went to the fair. He bought me this god awful choker looking back lol. But it was so nice.
What would you do with $20,000?I’m a nurse and support our family. All through COVID. Unfortunately he suffered a spinal injury and as a concrete worker was unable to return. I’ve been trying to keep up a float ever since. I give my whole life to others. I work with very poor communities. We have some debt from all of this and are trying to move down to NC to be closer to family and have a small farm of our very own.
