It all started with a Hinge swipe! Initially, we both got tired of the dating app culture and gave it one last go. Through fate, we found each other. Two second generation Jamaicans who were dating with intention to marry. Three years later, we’re still going strong!
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?We initially had our first date planned for late December 2021, but Courtney caught COVID and had to quarantine. After days of check ins and FaceTime dates, Matt couldn’t go into the new year without meeting Courtney in person. On NYE, before the GA Peach dropped, Courtney opened her door and Matt gave her a New Year’s kiss. Then immediately had to quarantine!
What would you do with $20,000?Courtney is a wedding planner and a high school teacher who has dedicated her life to helping people achieve their dreams. Matt is a 17 year Army veteran who helps with wedding setup. $20,000 would go a long way towards making their dream wedding come true.
