Connect How did your love story begin?

Cory and I met in an Internship program in Atlanta,Georgia. We saw each other at the train station on the very first day of the program. We sat on the same bus to campus, and we sat at the same table for the first virtual meeting. Our first conversation was about how much we liked Vegeta from DBZ. I put my name and number on his laptop and told him to text me and that I thought he was cute. We spoke on the phone for 4 hours that night. He asked me to breakfast the next day, it became a habit.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

We went on a trip to Chicago last November, we actually flew in thanksgiving night. The first morning of our trip we needed some things from the store and we stayed a 10 minute walk from the Gothic Target, so as first time tourists we just had to go in and see it. It was snowing, we walked and held hands. I met his family, and with a snowy background and Chicago city lights we all got drunk on eggnog, just getting to know each other. He surprised proposed the next day in the botanical garden.

What would you do with $20,000?

With a large sum of $20,000 , Cory and I would be able to afford to have a nice small wedding , and a honeymoon we can look back on and smile about. We could also start our savings towards our first home. We are a young couple, and in this current world climate we have so many stressors. A push like this in the upward direction would help us get our lives started on a good note, and in today’s time, we could all use a little kindness.
