Our story began in Barcelona, in a hotel lobby. I was traveling with my family across Europe and Brenno was traveling globally for a competitive handball tournament. I was playing ukulele to practice for a show when I returned to the US. We made eye contact and he came over to me. There was a language barrier so we would hold up objects and say the names. Also, we would use our phone to show pictures and songs. It was a coincidence that he was moving to the US a few days after we met.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?When Brenno chose to go to college in Chicago to be by me. We spent a lot of time making amazing memories around the city, young & in love. It kicked off our future together. Also, him proposing to me this year was so special!
