Connect How did your love story begin?

Our love story began at a work training. As class ended, our eyes locked. It felt like time stood still, a literal movie moment. I (Carrie) walked away, thinking I’d never see him again, but couldn’t stop thinking about him. I tried searching the email list for a name that could be his, and turns out, he did the same! On my next work trip to TN, to my surprise, there he was. I knew in that moment it was fate. From that day on, we’ve been inseparable!

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

My husband and I are both big on grand gestures! We love making each other feel seen, loved, and appreciated. While we’ve shared countless beautiful memories full of joy and surprises, the memories that mean the most to us are the ones born from life’s challenges. From learning how to renovate our first property with our own hands to holding each other through loss, it’s in the hardest times that our love has grown the deepest. Those raw, real memories are the ones we cherish most.

What would you do with $20,000?

If we were to win, we’d put it toward two dreams close to our hearts. First, we’d finish renovating our first home, the place where we hope to grow our family. Second, we’d invest in fertility treatments, as we’ve faced multiple losses in recent years. Our deepest desire is to welcome little feet running through a warm, loving home and become the parents we’ve always dreamed of being.
