Our love began by an Instagram comment before DM’s existed in 2012. Colton had just moved to Nashville, TN and Tyler was a student at MTSU in the neighboring city Murfreesboro. We both were young, unsatisfied, and trying to find joy, adventure, and connection and that comment opened the door to a lifetime of entertainment, love, and more fun than we could possibly imagine. We hung out for our first time at Colton’s apartment where we stayed up all night talking about what we wanted out of life.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Our favorite memory takes us back to June 26th 2015. We recently joined a circus performance group at this music festival called Electric Forest. This already was a pinnacle moment because we wanted this experience being clowns and entertainers playing dress up and sharing joy. We will never forget our friends running up to us, while we were dressed up as Disco Police ON STILTS, mid character and our friends running up to us screaming “DID YOU HEAR?? Gay marriage has been legalized!”
What would you do with $20,000?We’ve discussed this already and we would donate a percentage towards The Trevor Project while putting the rest aside in our savings towards fulfilling our dream of owning our own home one day.
