We have been together for 28 years. We have been through it all. My family was going to disown me. We are different races. 15 years apart.
We would like to thank you for supporting Collette in this year's competition. Your participation allows us to aid both the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and Oceana in their respective missions to support hunger relief and ocean conservation.
We meet at a nursing home. We worked together. We were friends for awhile. He was in an abusive relationship and just filed for divorce. He would bring my beautiful roses to work. Girls were so jealous. I was in awe. It's been history since. My family told me to stay far away by brothers wanted to kill him. My heart broke to be away. Even during times we couldn't see each other or talk for a few weeks. I thought that was it. We still talked and saw each other as soon as possible.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Best memory is our honeymoon in the beautiful island of Grenada where he is from.
What would you do with $20,000?Get a clean place of our own to live. We live with my parents. They have hoarding issues. My daughter's have asthma. I want a small clean place. Maybe a log cabin. With air filters and no clutters. This house needs a lot of work and my parents can't maintain it. So if I could get out maybe they could move too. I'd give them some money. Donate to my church because God loves us. Donate to the heart hospital for my husband's life saving surgeries. Donate to the fertility Dr who did my treatments.
