After years as long distance friends in different countries, we were invited to perform in NYC with our university alumni choir. I (Audrey) was determined not to let the trip pass without telling him (Colin) how I felt. My plan was to accompany him to see his favorite show on Broadway and find a quiet place after to confess my feelings. I was ready to be rejected, but to my surprise, he reciprocated my feelings wholeheartedly! We persevered through 10 months of an LDR before moving closer.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?For our first anniversary, we went out to brunch at my favorite local place and spent the afternoon pottery painting. The activity was a little out of Colin's comfort zone, but he ended up having a great time designing his ceramic narwhal. Said narwhal and my berry-covered ceramic hedgehog now decorate the fireplace mantle with our other unconventional knick-knacks.
What would you do with $20,000?We definitely want to save up for a house in the future, but it would be nice to put some of the money toward a wedding.
