At the SD airport heading to Nashville, saw each other at bag check, then again in the terminal. My flight was boarding and despite multiple eye catches he didn’t come over. I walked up to him and started the conversation. He followed with aren’t you going to miss your flight, I said I was enjoying talking to him. He asked that I saved him a seat. Flight attendants came up in notice of our new romance and offered us champagne to celebrate. The next 9 days we were inseparable in Nashville.

Definitely that first week we met. Gondola rides at the Gaylord, making candles, him attending my country gig on broadway, how electric our first kiss was (still is!), getting a free photo shoot in the park where we happened to be wearing matching outfits (that happens often)… airports. We are currently long distance and both travel for work so traveling together and rendezvousing at airports is kinda our thing. We have many favorite memories together but nothing beats that first week!

I don’t ever want to speak for him but Colby having 4 children from a previous marriage I can imagine some of it would help support them. But if I also know the two of us, we would use it to invest back into our relationship with a trip(s) to somewhere overseas neither of us ever thought possible to go. Whatever’s left would go to paying off debts, investments, and other things to ease financial burdens we both individually share.
