Connect How did your love story begin?

We met at a Halloween party in college, when I went up to him to ask about his niche costume. He was incredibly charismatic. However that’s not when our story started. It started almost 6 months later- after coincidentally running into each other multiple times at different outings- when we started talking and couldn’t stop. He asked me to be his girlfriend but I told him no, I was about to leave to US for my study abroad. He flew to Prague after 2 months to ask again, and I said yes!

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Almost 70% of our relationship has been long-distance. While Calista was studying abroad in Italy, we decided to meet in Prague for a week-long trip. This was before we were officially dating. While there, we went to a park and had a picnic that overlooked the city. We sketched the city together in little books. There wasn’t a lot of conversation, but there was still a warmth between us that made it peaceful and something we wanted forever.

What would you do with $20,000?

Seeing as we graduate college in a matter of months, we would use the money to get a start on “real adult life”. Things we haven’t had to worry about yet are soon to affect us: health insurance payments, phone bills, car servicing! The money would take the financial burden off an already difficult transition from student life to adulthood.
