How did your love story begin?

We grew up together. Joyce's mom and dad were close family friends with my mom and dad. When she and I became teenagers we became sweet hearts. But her dad said no to that and broke it off. She and I went our separate way and had our families.i was married for 34 years and my wife passed away. After a while of being lonely, I broke out the old roladex and called her mom. She put me in touch with Joyce who was in an abusive relationship. We started dating and after a year we got married.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

My dad kept 8 Mm. Films of all our families. He had a brownie wind up camera so any of our outings he would break out the camera and film everything. Then he would take out the projector and screen so we could watch everything. I Inherited all of the films and camera and such. And now we can watch them together again.

What would you do with $20,000?

That money would help me to retire I'm 71 years old and I raised 8 kids. 5 boys and 3 girls. She had 2 girls and a boy.we now have 34 grandkids and 15 great grand kids.I was a self employed roofing contractor for 43 years, and I need to relax and spend my remaining years with my Love, Joyce Ann Warren.
