It began as a Tinder romance. Of all the places to be looking for love, neither of us thought that's how we would meet. Jon and I had our first date at the Abbey, an English-style restaurant. We had only talked for a few days and decided to give it a whirl. We ordered so many appetizers that the table was completely full. A group of people came over and told us they had bets on whether it was a first date or not based on how comfortable we were with one another and because of all the laughter.

Last summer we spent two weeks traveling through France and Greece. When we travel we like to teach and experience aspects of travel we love - food, culture, and education. Claudette made sure that the itenrary was jam-packed with Michellin star restaurants in Paris and sun-soaked beaches in Mykonos. Jon, a huge history buff, scheduled museums in Athens and made sure that we didn't leave France without crawling through the catacombs beneath the "City of Lights."

We will be together 3 years this upcoming August and have finally started to discuss plans to get engaged. We'd love to use the money to plan a small wedding with our families or save it for Claudette's upcoming 40th birthday in February 2026 and take a luxury vacation! Both of us work about 80 hours a week and Claudette has 4 jobs. We 100% need time to enjoy some R&R so this would be such a help towards that.
