How did your love story begin?

We met in homeroom—me, the new girl. Since our last names were similar (Leb and Leibowitz), we sat next to each other in alphabetical order. It was love at first sight. From that day on, he teased me nonstop and called every day at 3 PM—right when I was watching my favorite soap opera, Santa Barbara. I acted annoyed, but he never missed a call. And truthfully, I never wanted him to stop.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

For our 20th wedding anniversary, we went to St. Barthes. Marc hates to fly, but I convinced him to get on a tiny plane that had to land on a super short runway. He was nervous, but it was worth it—we had the most amazing, romantic, and unforgettable time. The trip was pure magic from start to finish, and one of our favorite adventures together.

What would you do with $20,000?

We’d go to France for our 30th wedding anniversary — I’d do all the talking since I speak French, and he’d just smile and nod like he’s following along, which is basically how we’ve made it 30 years anyway!
