We would like to thank you for supporting Cj and Misty in this year's competition. Your participation allows us to aid both the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and Oceana in their respective missions to support hunger relief and ocean conservation.
Misty was working as a correctional nurse in a Wyoming Prison and Cj was working as a correctional officer. We became friends and fell in love. We laugh when we tell others that our Love Story began in Prison.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?We both had motorcycles and one afternoon we went for a ride. Cj told Misty that a storm was coming and she insisted on a short ride. We were caught in horrific hail storm. We took shelter under an old broken tree. Soaking wet we stood under the tree laughing until the storm passed. To this day when we drive past the tree, we say to each other there is our saving tree. We have had a painting of this tree by a local artist completed and it hangs on the wall above our kitchen table.
What would you do with $20,000?We would take a portion of the money to fix up our home and with the remainder of the money we would take a weekend getaway. We believe it is important for couples to getaway and make new memories with each other . We also own an antique store and ice cream shop so we could put some of the money towards our business for a new ice cream dipping cabinet.
