We met in September 2022 on a night when we least expected it. Neither of us were looking for love! Cindy was filling in for a singer in an 80’s cover band and Ricky was doing their sound at a local music venue. At first glance Ricky thought “Mmm she’s cute” and Cindy thought “hmm he’s kinda cute” both which we shared later. During sound check, looking over his glasses on the end of his nose, Ricky looked up from his mixing board and said “you’re too f$&@ing cute” and Cindy got flustered:)
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?There are so many to choose from but one of the best was getting engaged in Las Vegas. Ricky was born in Las Vegas and hadn’t been back since childhood so we took a trip there. Cindy hoped for a possible engagement but night after night it just wasn’t the right moment, Ricky said later. He proposed on the last morning of the trip in the hotel room. He waited until Cindy least expected it when she wasn’t all dolled up first thing in the morning so she’d know he loves her just the way she is.
What would you do with $20,000?We would pay some bills, kids college tuitions and finally plan our wedding and go on a honeymoon.
