Connect How did your love story begin?

Our story began in 1992 as a personal ad! Lori shared it and Chuck replied. We quickly discovered how similar we were but wanted to experience our differences. Chuck taught Lori to ride a bike and she learned how to swim for him! Chuck learned to horseback ride because Lori has always loved horses. We inspire each other to be better humans every single day. We make mistakes, learn from them and strengthen our bond as a couple. All thanks to a personal ad (that Chuck still has to this day).

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Alaska 2022. We booked a guided expedition to Katmai to see bears. It was a day we worked together as a team and with strangers. We filmed the outing with 3 cameras; it took weeks to edit. It was our 1st short documentary. Lori said we should submit it to a festival. We did and won an award at the 2024 Syracuse International Film Festival! We watched others watch us. To see and hear the audience react to our film was amazing! People escaped their own troubles for a while because of our film.

What would you do with $20,000?

We want to grow our YouTube channel so we can share helpful travel tips and experiences so others may follow in our footsteps. We want to be trusted world travel guides. For those who can't travel, our stories still inspire and entertain so others may live vicariously through us. This is not about money for us. We want the opportunity to be seen and heard. We want to share love and positivity with the world. The funds will go to charity and to make a film to educate, inspire and entertain.
