We would like to thank you for supporting Christina and Robert Pirello in this year's competition. Your participation allows us to aid both the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and Oceana in their respective missions to support hunger relief and ocean conservation.
We met when I was diagnosed with cancer and my now husband taught me how to use food as medicine and I have been cancer free since 1984. We also survived his osteoporosis at only 48 and a brain stem aneurysm for me in 1998. Those experiences made us love more fiercely and understand that love is all there is.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Our first vacation together was on St John was life changing for us both. We both worked non stop in our business and it was the first time we unplugged and just enjoyed each other and nature, free from responsibility and illness
What would you do with $20,000?We would use the money to buy books for schools in our home city of Philadelphia and use the rest of the moeny to fund educational programs to help people with healthy eating through our non-profit.
