We are truly best friends and partners in life first. We respect each other enough to communicate well, and we always work together.

We met in high school. Kate was a sophomore, Chris was a freshman - and Kate was dating Chris’s best friend. We both went to the same college but lost touch after. We reconnected in 2019, went on a date, and now we own a house that we share with our two dogs and cat. So technically, we’re high school sweethearts!
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Traveling to Maui and getting engaged in Lahaina under the banyan tree. We were the only two people there other than a busker, who just so happened to be playing ‘Just the Two of Us.’
What would you do with $20,000?We would make some much-needed repairs to the electrical issues in our 1960 house - if you run the dryer while the lamps in the living room are on at the same time, it looks like a scene from Poltergeist. We would also use the money to invest in Chris’s woodworking business, put money in our niece’s college fund, and take our honeymoon (we get hitched in September!).
