We met on a blind date and were engaged 2 weeks later! We were married within 3 months and have been married 28 years! Our love story began because I was a special Ed teacher and 5’11. My friend taught at the same school as Chris’ mom. Chris is 6’6 so they started talking in the teacher lounge and decided, we were both tall & single so they set us up. Little did we know a simple blind date would turn into an amazing adventure and life together!
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?For our whole marriage we have dreamed of traveling around Europe so for our 25th wedding anniversary, we pulled it off! We took a Mediterranean cruise to Italy, Spain, and France. We often share or reflect on that trip when Kendle’s cancer journey gets tough. It was some of our happiest moments as a couple!
What would you do with $20,000?Because of Kendle’s current stage 4 cancer diagnosis, we are pursuing her bucket list as quickly as possible. One wish that is currently out of reach is a romantic stay in Bora Bora in an over water bungalow. Hoping we can do this while she still has the strength to travel.
