Since Tampa Theater 2004, we met adverse challenges: rejection, residency, 7 years with 6 miscarriages. Now meeting goals with gratitude.
You decide who wins $20,000 and appears in Variety magazine as America’s Favorite Couple
Our love story began with us meeting each other by happenstance at the Saturday Wine Fever charity event in 2004. I was hosting the champagne tasting table. As soon as Chris walked in the room my world froze. Ladies tapped me for attention to pour their champagne. Chris came up to me three times. “I loved her smile,” he later explained. I followed him with my eyes and the woman he was with showed up in line near him, “I see you’ve met my brother!” Relief! We danced and flirted all night.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Chris and I had six miscarriages between 2014 and 2021.Those years were the hardest years for both of us. For me: battling depression and searching for answers. For him: residency. For us: challenge after challenge. Our favorite memory was in March 2021, after successful genetic screening test results, he came home from a long day and I played the song, “Let’s Hear It For The Boy”, by Deniece Williams while giving him a note in blue crayon that said “It’s a boy!” We kissed, danced and hugged.
What would you do with $20,000?We would put it our son’s 529 account for his academic future.
