Connect How did your love story begin?

In college, we were walking with a mutual friend, and as we parted ways, Erin asked, "What was your name?" Chris laughed and said that we had met twice before. Erin had even sat next to him on his couch doing homework with his roommate before this official meeting. Soon after, we hung out — and here we are, 19 years later, still laughing and having fun.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

During a hike in Rocky Mountain National Park,we stopped for lunch at a beautiful scenic spot. While we were eating,a chipmunk sat nearby, watching us intently. It suddenly ran straight at Chris and stopped abruptly. It started to scurry away but quickly changed its mind and ran at him again—this time getting even closer, which surprised Chris. We laughed so hard. We have a picture of that chipmunk framed in our house.

What would you do with $20,000?

We would buy a golf cart for our property. We had rented one for an event and realized how much we loved having it to drive around our 7 acres and up our long driveway. We would also throw a party with our friends and family to celebrate being America's favorite couple! We'd encourage everyone to bring their golf carts and create games and activities to compete in while driving them.
