High school best friends & secret crush. We were coworkers & manager played match maker to set us up! Dated for less than a year before we got married at 18 & 19. Spent $600 on a student credit card for a runway wedding in Pigeon Forge. Life moved quickly as we found a house and had our first baby. “We’ve got a house, got married, wanna have a baby!? Yeah, sure why not?” Bam- there she was, 7lb 11oz ball of beauty. Started our life together full of faith and adventures to prove the world wrong!
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Spring ‘99 high school senior trip to DC. Y2K was upon us and we were 2 broke teenagers with $10 in our pockets. We sat on the bus ride and planned what we would do when we got to the capital. As our classmates ran for the mall we walked several blocks on our own following signs to the skating rink only to find that it was closed for renovations. Freezing, we put our dollars together for a hot ham and Swiss and hot chocolate to share ($8 total!). We love this story because it was our first date!
