6.5 years in—growth, love, trust, support, and friendship. He’s my safe place, my home, and my forever. He’s taught me what true love is
We would like to thank you for supporting Chloe and Zion in this year's competition. Your participation allows us to aid both the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and Oceana in their respective missions to support hunger relief and ocean conservation.
We were in the same high school friend group, everyone was a year older except the two of us. Funny enough, Zion and I were never around at the same time, so I genuinely thought he didn’t like me! It wasn’t until everyone else graduated and left us behind that we finally started talking. Turns out, he didn’t hate me at all—he had a secret crush I never knew about. The rest is history.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple? It’s hard to pick just one—every day with him is fun in its own way. But one of my favorite memories is the day he asked me to be his girlfriend. We were just high school kids with no money, but he planned the sweetest surprise dinner at an upscale restaurant. We had both been holding off on saying “I love you,” and right when I finally went to say it, he pulled out a gift—a necklace that said “I love you” in over 100 languages. It was the most thoughtful, perfect moment.
What would you do with $20,000?Put it towards our first home or wedding!
