We met through mutual friends in college (3ish years ago). We hung out a few times within the friend group, but never made any moves past friendship. We started separately texting and Gabe asked me to go to one of his fraternity events called champagne and shackles. You zip-tie your hands to each other and can only cut it off once you finish the bottle of champagne together. Ever since that day, we have hung out almost everyday and realized we love to do the same activities!
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?One night at our favorite all-you-can-eat sushi spot, we accidentally submitted two order slips—without realizing we ordered over 20 rolls. The waitress even double-checked, but we were confident (and clearly ambitious). Gabe powered through most of it, but as the $1 per leftover piece fee loomed, I panicked… and started secretly stuffing sushi into my purse, napkins, pockets—you name it. I genuinely hate wasting food, but my purse still smells like sushi to this day. Definitely a core memory!
What would you do with $20,000?We both have student loans that we would love to used the 20,000 to pay off. We are currently balancing our first post-college jobs while trying to figure out how to become adults, and student loan payments are always a challenge!
