We met working/volunteering for the same fire district. He was here from the NL learning fire prevention education to take back to his country. We dated until his visa ran out and he returned to NL. After two years he decided me and the OR fire service was his dream and we married in the fire station where we first met shortly after he returned.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Creating a wonderful life/family. 25 years dedicated service to the OR Fire services. See him become an American citizen and go on to retire with great honors not only from Lake Oswego Fire but the OR State Fire Marshal’s office. His success was just as much mine and our two children with the time we have all freely given.
What would you do with $20,000?Work to restore my Dads 56 Ford Pickup with duel wrap around windows and the big fenders. My dad served in the fire service for over 50 years and we lost him and my mother last summer. Maybe take a trip to NL to see the family.
