We met on the dating app Hinge, if you can believe it! We went for a walk in Central Park that turned into dinner that turned into drinks. During the first few months of dating, we talked on the phone for hours and hours a night. I was a swing on Broadway, meaning I understudied 7 different roles. He came to see me play each one, including the lead role 6 times! We moved in together later that fall, and it just keeps getting better. The apps in NYC can be hellish — I’m so glad we didn’t give up!
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Our first trip together was a low-key weekend in the Poconos! We accidentally went to dinner at a casino because it was the only place open—honestly, the food was amazing. We hung out in the pool and hot tub at our air bnb. We saw live music and went to a small-town carnival! I love that we can have a good time doing anything and don’t rely on extravagance. This was simple and perfect!
What would you do with $20,000?My mother has never been out of the country and it has been a long time dream to take her to Europe to see art! We’d love to make that happen!
